Audio Strategies to Increase Beginner Classroom Participation Skills: Decreasing Problem Behavior with an FBA: Part 1
Need to access CEUs but don't have the time to commit to watching computer-based webinars?
Special Learning has you covered with our webinar. Get access to great content in a convenient audio-only format. Now your CEUs can be just as "on the go" as you are!
This audio webinar will provide an overview of functionally appropriate behavioral interventions designed to reduce challenging behavior. Based on the literature review and successful practice in a real-world application, we will identify appropriate antecedent and consequent interventions. We will map out how to develop a thorough behavior support plan; specifically the construction of an appropriate reinforcement schedule, functionally equivalent replacement behaviors, and preventative strategies. In addition, we will analyze the need for aversive strategies when reinforcement-based interventions alone are not effective for behavior reduction
Upon completion of Decreasing Problem Behavior with an FBA: Part 1 participants will:
1. Identify the need for a behavior reduction plan and construct a behavioral definition.
2. Complete a functional behavioral assessment (indirect and direct assessment and functional analysis).
3. Identify the various reinforcing variables that maintain challenging behavior and how to successfully implement neutral redirection.
Each purchase corresponds to 1 user license/access. Only the user assigned to a subscription will be able to access the audio and obtain CEUs.
