CEU: 2 BACB Ethics or Type II

This webinar is an Add-on to our Ethics in Schools Series

Consent is one of the most challenging issues faced by school-based BCBAs. While parental or guardian consent is required under IDEA, the frequency is significantly less than is required under the BACB Ethics Code.

Sections 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 (among other areas) of the BACB Code are explicit in terms of when to obtain parent/guardian consent, but the number of times consent is required by IDEA is significantly less. When faced with this disconnect, how can school-based BCBAs and RBTs maintain their ethical responsibility to stay in compliance of the BACB Ethics Code?

During this webinar, Dr. Bailey and other Subject Matter Experts will explore these challenges to help BCBAs and RBTs find ethical solutions by using real scenarios submitted by BCBAs and RBTs working in schools
