Description: This webinar, presented by Dr. Jon Bailey, PhD., BCBA-D, and co-author of Ethics for Behavior Analysts will be focusing on code 2 of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. This section of the code discusses the responsibilities Behavior Analysts have with their clients. Issues such as appropriate billing practices, third-party involvement, and confidentiality were discussed.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will have an in-depth understanding of all sections of code 2 of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
• Participants will learn the responsibilities of accepting clients, providing consultation services, and involving third parties in services.
• Participants will know the rights and prerogatives of clients and treatment/intervention efficacy.
• Participants will learn how to maintain confidentiality, records, and data, and when disclosures are appropriate.
• Participants will discuss issues related to documenting professional work and research and when it is appropriate to interrupt or discontinue services.
• Participants will learn about contracts, fees, financial arrangements, and accuracy in billing reports
