Material details: One ZIP contains four English-language PDFs, totaling 74 pages including covers and front matter. The color story and coloring book each have 24 pages; the rule-card file has 3 pages; the general Social Stories Instructional Guide has 23 pages.
- Using a Tissue: the illustrated story presents the routine in first-person language, followed by story-specific reading guidance.
- Black-and-white version: the same tissue-use story appears as outline illustrations for coloring.
- Rule cards: smaller versions of the story panels, a five-step reminder and a short text recap appear on three printable pages.
- Social Stories Instructional Guide: the general guide discusses choosing a story, checking prerequisite skills, reading routines, praise and reinforcement, token systems, role play and later review. Reading and practice context
The color story’s printed classification key lists social skills and basic communication for pre-K, kindergarten and elementary learners. The guide emphasizes selecting material around the learner’s existing abilities; the printed age bands do not establish that the material suits every child.
The PDFs display a 2013 copyright notice. The included guide discusses educational teaching activities and notes limits to the research specific to social stories.
